Calendar for October, 2010
October 2 - deadline to register for the November 3, 2007 SAT I or II
- October 6 - SAT I and SAT II test
- October 30 - last day to register for December 1, 2007 SAT I or SAT II
Freshmen
- Meet with your Guidance Counselor to develop a tentative 4-year academic plan
Seniors
- Retake SAT I, SAT II, and/or ACT if necessary
- Attend local college fairs and college representative visits to your high school
- Decide if you are applying Early Decision or Early Action
- Send out Rolling Admissions applications now!
- Don't forget to send standardized test scores to ED/EA/Rolling schools to meet earlier deadlines
- Begin filling out all applications to definite schools
- Finish essays and short question answers
- Finalize list of colleges and give deadline due dates/stamped envelopes to teacher recommendation writers at least ONE MONTH before the application deadlines
- Continue scholarship search
- Parents and students request a pin number if planning to fill out the FAFSA form (required for all financial aid recipients)
- Check individual college due dates for the CSS Profile
